NEW AT THE NURSERY!
We're always excited to stock the most interesting open pollinated and heirloom plant cultivars and Basil is no exception. A pillar of the summer garden- we love all types of basil and think everyone should have one of each. (Too much is never enough.) This weekend we'll have Lime, Lemon, Thai, Purple, Persian. Cinnamon,  perennial Greek Columnar, perennial African Blue, and classic Italian Basil of course.

Alpine Strawberries are back! Our beloved Alpine Srawberries are back in stock, and we adore these diminutive berries for their powerful and exotic "fraise du bois" flavor, and ease of growing for the new gardener. These perennial fruits looks incredibly gorgeous in the garden too.

Other specialties in this week: Shiso! Lovage! Datil Pepper! Comfrey! Red Currant 'Spoon' Tomato for all our chef friends! We're obsessed with 'Spoon' and love it's sweet foliage, teensy tinsy yet intensly rich flavored tomatoes that look like red rubies in a salad or summer dish. This baby's gorgeous sprawling around the garden sans tomato trellis, too. Perfect for those gardening on a hillside!

See you this weekend!
